International NGO’s send employees to the forefront of conflicts, to locations lacking adequate medical care, and places where law and security may be jeopardized, all to fulfill life saving and world changing missions. Over the last few years, several international NGO employees have been speaking up regarding sexual violence against aid workers. In lieu of the #metoo movement, #aidtoo was developed. Employees on the ground want stronger sexual violence prevention and response protocols emphasizing their safety.
SAPRI consulting works with international NGO’s on sexual violence prevention and response by providing training, policy development, materials, and several other safety-related services. SAPRI provides training directly to HR and management on sexual violence prevention and response from an institutional level, and works directly with teams on myriad topics including responding to harassment, active bystander strategies, and individual safety.
Is there room for improvement in your organization's sexual violence prevention and response protocols to your staff? If so, contact SAPRI Consulting to find out more.
